The Pichwai Kamdhenu, the wish-fulfilling cow, the symbol of abundance and divine grace in the Pushtimarg tradition, hand-formed in 925 sterling silver and finished in hand-laid enamel. The art descends from Nathdwara, where Pichwai painting has adorned the shrine of Shrinathji for more than three centuries; here that devotional language is carried, in the temple palette, into a piece you can wear.
At 1.75 inches, this is the most versatile of the three sizes, substantial enough to be noticed, restrained enough to wear every day rather than save for occasions. For many, it is the one that earns the most wear. The enamel is laid by eye, so no two are quite alike.
It is worn on the bandhgala, sherwani, or blazer, and equally as a saree pin or sir pench, a devotional object first, a piece of fine jewellery always. The same design is offered in a bolder 2.25-inch and a more compact 1.6-inch size.
