The Pichwai Kamdhenu, the wish-fulfilling cow, the symbol of abundance and divine grace in the Pushtimarg tradition, hand-formed in 925 sterling silver and finished in hand-laid enamel. The art descends from Nathdwara, where Pichwai painting has adorned the shrine of Shrinathji for more than three centuries; here that devotional language is carried, in the temple palette, into a piece you can wear.
This is the largest of our plain Pichwai cow brooches, at 2.25 inches. The scale gives it real presence, a piece that anchors a lapel and reads clearly across a room, where the smaller sizes whisper. The enamel is laid by eye, so no two are quite alike.
It is worn on the bandhgala, sherwani, or blazer, and equally as a saree pin or sir pench, a devotional object first, a piece of fine jewellery always. The same design is offered in 1.75-inch and 1.6-inch sizes, for those who prefer a quieter scale.
