The Pichwai Kamdhenu, the wish-fulfilling cow, the symbol of abundance and grace in the Pushtimarg tradition, hand-formed in 925 sterling silver and finished in warm gold plating. The art descends from Nathdwara, where Pichwai painting has adorned the shrine of Shrinathji for more than three centuries; the gold gives that devotional motif a richer, more regal warmth than our white-silver pieces.
At 1.3 inches, this is the smallest of the gold-plated cow brooches and the most accessible point of the design, understated, easy to wear, and an ideal introduction to a gold-plated Pichwai piece. Its modest scale makes it a natural, gift-friendly choice.
It is worn on the bandhgala, sherwani, kurta, or blazer, and equally as a saree pin or sir pench, a devotional object first, a piece of fine craft always. The same gold-plated design is offered in larger 1.6-inch, 1.75-inch, and 2.25-inch sizes.
